My name is Matthew Hall, but most people call me Matt or Brady Hall's husband. I was raised in Dothan, Alabama, and after finishing high school, I attended Auburn University where I obtained my B.A. in History. For those of you who may have a strong affinity for crimson and white, please don't hold this against me. Attending Auburn is a family tradition, as, at last count, close to twenty of my immediate family members obtained their undergraduate and/or post-graduate degree from Auburn.
It was at Auburn that I met Brady Allen, who I somehow convinced to marry me. I fully acknowledge that I married above my station with her, and to this day I consider her consent to marry me my greatest victory both in and outside of the courtroom.
After graduating from Auburn, I chose to take the road less traveled (hence the photo above) and attend Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. I greatly enjoyed my time in Washington, as it gave Brady and me time to grow in our marriage, and helped me realize that Southern cooking is truly the greatest delicacy our fine country has to offer. I also got to witness some really great basketball during my time at Gonzaga, which, unfortunately, was something I had not seen a great deal of at Auburn.
After law school, we decided it was time to come home. I became licensed in Florida and took a job as a prosecutor in Pensacola. Shortly thereafter I obtained my license to practice in Alabama and we moved to Baldwin County, where we have now been for over ten years.
For ten years I worked in the insurance defense industry where I handled personal injury, workers' compensation, employment and breach of contract lawsuits. I enjoyed my time as an insurance defense attorney, but I was never able to shake the feeling that I was not fulfilling God's calling for my life, which was to help people not insurance corporations.
Therefore, in June of 2017, I decided to start my own law firm. A law firm where I have the freedom to help others in need. If you are one of those individuals, I am hopeful that you will give me a call, so that together we may find a solution to your legal problem.
